Rotary International Humanitarian Projects |
- Medical Clinic, Quastatoya Guatemala: Assisted in the fund raising to equip medical clinic that treats more then 4000 patients a year.
- Village Project, El Carmen Guatemala: assisted in fund raising to develop an agriculture project that helped make this village become totally self-sufficient. They now have running water, electricity, a well equipped school, and a small medical clinic.
- Baby Guatemalan Project: arranged for a child, born with severe developmental impairments, to be transported from Guatamala to West Virginia University to receive medical and surgical care. The child is now 12years old, walking, attending regular school, and adopted by an American family.
- Chair of the Rotary International Service Matching Grant Committee for Rotary District 6930, 2000 - 2002
- St Anne-s Hospital Pediatric AIDS Project: raised $24,400.00 and received a Rotary International Matching grant for $24,400.00 to help equip the first pediatric intensive care unit in Zimbabwe.
- Swaziland Village Project: designed the fund raising strategies to build a classroom. Raised $35,000 for the project
- Mashambou Hospice and Orphanage for HIV Children to last line Harare, Zimbabwe: Raise needed funds to expand existing program for these children 2006 - Present
