Jermaine M. Brantley MSPT, BS, CSCS
Jermaine received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 2005 and his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, majoring in Exercise Science, from Georgia Southern University in 2002. Jermaine is recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (2002) and Personal Trainer (2000). He is also certified by the Cincinnati Sports Medicine Research & Education Foundation as a SportsmetricsTM Trainer. As an intern under Juan Carlos Santana, at the Institute of Human Performance, Jermaine received extensive instruction in "Functional Training" for diverse populations across the age span, at various levels of activity including: juvenile to professional athletes, weekend warriors, geriatrics, and post rehabilitation.
Jermaine's interests lie in the effective facilitation of posture control by providing both core and motor control stabilization of spinal and peripheral joints during functional activities. He designs diagnostic specific therapeutic protocols to improve strength, coordination, and endurance regardless of age, gender, pathology, or the setting where the training or rehabilitation occurs.
Jermaine currently practices orthopedic and sports physical therapy at One to One Physical Therapy and Aquatics located in Delray Beach, FL. As an independent contractor, he trains clients at the Institute of Human Performance in Boca Raton, FL.
